Homenatges (Homages) is an album i played and recorded which originally was intended to be released along with two other solo albums by the other two members of the band Homenatges (Adrián de Alfonso and Rafa Romero). And also to accompany the art show that i had at the gallery Todojunto in Barcelona in december 2008. A series of unfortunate events took place so it took me longer to finish it. So the album came out a year later, winter of 2009. The release came out as a CD-R on Ozonokids [catalog number OKTPS 029].
The earlier 22 copies included handmade laser printed booklets that i put together in Manresa back then. The inside cover was a digital collage i made off some of the photos Adrià Cañameras took of me that year at live shows and random locations.
All CD-R's were treated separately with a mixture of water ink, glued paper and spraypaint which made each one unique. Of course they were all hand-numbered.
After giving most of them away i made a second edition of 50 copies, which was released in 2010. I ran out of copies in 2011.

Tracks 1, 3, 7 were recorded in the Sala Family's warehouse in Manresa, 25th of July 2008. Tracks 2, 5 were recorded @ Portaferrissa st in Barcelona the month of July 2009. 4,7 were recorded @ Sala Family's warehouse sometime during the summer of 2008. Some of the tracks appear in various sold out cassette releases. All music, concept and sounds by Arnau Sala Saez 2008-2009. Feel free to pass it along to anyone who might be interested.
