Homenatges II (Homages II) is an album i played and recorded which is the follow up to my album Homenatges, released in 2009.

I made some copies of CD-R's for this that i gave away, so i decided to upload it so hopefully it willl reach more people.

The artwork is a close up photograph from another photograph that Lydia Lunch took of a mummified child in Italy. The inside photograph is from a grave in the cemetary in Montjuic, Barcelona.

The sounds in this albums are far more minimal than its predecesor, but i think it has more dynamics as a whole. Longer tracks (from 6 to 7 minutes each) and an appproach to different moods. I feel like they are a reflex from a period of transition. Musically i think it brings a far more sensitive approach. The totality of the album is really not meant for anxious listeners, each step is taken slowly and with a pace. Like a meditation or a slowly sinking boat. Except for song number 4 which portrays a sudden twist.

In the original version there was a fifth song called Fatvm that i decided to delete because i don't believe it went along with the totality of the album. Now the whole album becomes way shorter since the deleted song was over 10 minutes long. I think the change makes it all better though.

Track 1 was recorded in the Sala Family’s warehouse in Manresa, September 2010.
Tracks 2, 3 were recorded in Barcelona the month of May 2010.
Track 4 was recorded @ Sala Family’s warehouse in Manresa, December 2009.
